Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 5.04 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 1.99 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 1.92 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 1.63 crore), MPS Infotecnics (numbers of share traded: 1.13 crore), Pro Fin Capital(numbers of share traded: 0.96 crore), NCL Research(numbers of share traded: 0.94 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 0.86 crore), Brightcom Group(numbers of share traded: 0.76 crore) and Karda Const(numbers of share traded: 0.63 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 91.65 points down at 15966.65, while BSE Sensex ended down 372.46 points at 53514.15.

On the other hand, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 3.31 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 2.94 per cent), Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd.(down 2.78 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(down 2.44 per cent) and Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 1.77 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
