Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 4.92 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 4.58 crore), MRPL(numbers of share traded: 4.41 crore), Karda Const(numbers of share traded: 4.05 crore), RBL Bank(numbers of share traded: 3.67 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 3.40 crore), Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 3.32 crore), Hindustan Motor(numbers of share traded: 3.28 crore), Vikas Multicorp(numbers of share traded: 3.00 crore) and SAIL(numbers of share traded: 2.38 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 39.95 points down at 15692.15, while BSE Sensex ended down 152.18 points at 52541.39.

On the other hand, Tata Steel Ltd.(down 3.67 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 2.92 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 2.15 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 1.30 per cent) and Infosys Ltd.(down 1.27 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
