Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 28.97 crore), Adani Power(numbers of share traded: 14.20 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 8.73 crore), BHEL(numbers of share traded: 7.49 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 7.15 crore), IDFC First Bank(numbers of share traded: 6.73 crore), Motherson Sumi Wiring India Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 6.18 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 5.40 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 4.70 crore) and MPS Infotecnics (numbers of share traded: 3.30 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 205.7 points up at 17670.45, while BSE Sensex ended up 708.18 points at 59276.69.

On the other hand, Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 2.35 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.82 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 0.72 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 0.66 per cent) and Titan Company Ltd.(down 0.60 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
