Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 22.72 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 11.00 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 8.88 crore), Ibull Real Estate(numbers of share traded: 7.37 crore), Adani Power(numbers of share traded: 7.08 crore), Dhani Ibull Ventures(numbers of share traded: 6.39 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 5.36 crore), Ibull Housing Fin(numbers of share traded: 5.29 crore), Bank of Baroda(numbers of share traded: 5.20 crore) and BHEL(numbers of share traded: 5.13 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 114.45 points down at 17092.2, while BSE Sensex ended down 382.91 points at 57300.68.

On the other hand, Tata Steel Ltd.(down 3.65 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 3.65 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 3.58 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 3.28 per cent) and SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 2.98 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
