Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 38.13 crore), Jayaswal Neco(numbers of share traded: 11.85 crore), PC Jeweller(numbers of share traded: 10.42 crore), Indian Energy Exchg(numbers of share traded: 8.45 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 6.38 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 6.30 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 6.13 crore), Brightcom Group(numbers of share traded: 5.79 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 5.74 crore) and JP Power(numbers of share traded: 5.28 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 156.1 points down at 24680.9, while BSE Sensex ended down 572.07 points at 80891.02.

On the other hand, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 7.44 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 3.64 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 3.54 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 2.63 per cent) and Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 2.46 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
