Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Jayaswal Neco(numbers of share traded: 34.72 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 23.83 crore), Indian Energy Exchg(numbers of share traded: 12.77 crore), Eternal(numbers of share traded: 12.06 crore), PC Jeweller(numbers of share traded: 10.99 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 9.50 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 9.25 crore), Canara Bank(numbers of share traded: 8.61 crore), Paisalo Digital(numbers of share traded: 5.11 crore) and GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 4.70 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 157.81 points down at 25062.1, while BSE Sensex ended down 542.47 points at 82184.17.

On the other hand, Nestle India Ltd.(down 5.32 per cent), Trent Ltd.(down 3.83 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 3.14 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 3.11 per cent) and Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 1.53 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
