Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: JP Power(numbers of share traded: 41.48 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 34.08 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 21.66 crore), PC Jeweller(numbers of share traded: 14.93 crore), Filatex Fashions(numbers of share traded: 10.72 crore), Jyoti Structure(numbers of share traded: 9.93 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 8.37 crore), Ibull Housing Fin(numbers of share traded: 8.36 crore), Salasar Techno Engg(numbers of share traded: 7.84 crore) and Sambhv Steel Tubes Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 7.34 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 46.41 points down at 25476.1, while BSE Sensex ended down 176.43 points at 83536.08.

On the other hand, HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 2.00 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 1.84 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 1.70 per cent), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 1.27 per cent) and Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.26 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
