Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: PC Jeweller(numbers of share traded: 43.62 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 40.30 crore), Ola Electric Mobility Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 8.58 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 7.48 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 7.15 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 5.97 crore), Stampede Cap(numbers of share traded: 5.35 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 4.86 crore), Filatex Fashions(numbers of share traded: 4.55 crore) and Sindhu Trade(numbers of share traded: 4.40 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 55.71 points up at 25461.0, while BSE Sensex ended up 193.42 points at 83432.89.

On the other hand, Trent Ltd.(down 11.88 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 1.75 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 1.53 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.00 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 0.84 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
