Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 71.14 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 14.52 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 13.36 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 6.76 crore), Filatex Fashions(numbers of share traded: 6.25 crore), Tata Steel(numbers of share traded: 6.06 crore), FSN E-Comm(Nykaa)(numbers of share traded: 5.96 crore), Ola Electric Mobility Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 5.87 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 5.59 crore) and Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 4.83 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 48.11 points down at 25405.3, while BSE Sensex ended down 170.22 points at 83239.47.

On the other hand, SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 2.51 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 1.96 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 1.40 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 1.36 per cent) and JSW Steel Ltd.(down 1.31 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
