Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 71.38 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 20.37 crore), Filatex Fashions(numbers of share traded: 16.93 crore), Sagility India Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 16.33 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 10.07 crore), PC Jeweller(numbers of share traded: 9.82 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 8.42 crore), HDB Financial Services Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 8.10 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 7.29 crore) and Tata Steel(numbers of share traded: 6.33 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 88.4 points down at 25453.4, while BSE Sensex ended down 287.6 points at 83409.69.

On the other hand, Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 2.81 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 2.50 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 2.44 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 2.24 per cent) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 1.91 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
