Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Shangar Decor(numbers of share traded: 8.25 crore), Enbee Trade Fin(numbers of share traded: 7.19 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 6.65 crore), Filatex Fashions(numbers of share traded: 5.95 crore), G G Engineering(numbers of share traded: 2.66 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 2.54 crore), Sunshine Capital(numbers of share traded: 2.49 crore), Sharanam Infra(numbers of share traded: 2.10 crore), Timex Group(numbers of share traded: 1.30 crore) and IFL Enterprises(numbers of share traded: 1.19 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 24.75 points up at 25541.8, while BSE Sensex ended up 90.83 points at 83697.29.

On the other hand, Nestle India Ltd.(down 2.24 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(down 2.16 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 1.48 per cent), Eternal Ltd.(down 1.20 per cent) and Trent Ltd.(down 1.19 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
