Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Shangar Decor(numbers of share traded: 6.51 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 5.20 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 4.89 crore), Filatex Fashions(numbers of share traded: 4.46 crore), G G Engineering(numbers of share traded: 3.11 crore), Sharanam Infra(numbers of share traded: 2.45 crore), Sunshine Capital(numbers of share traded: 2.42 crore), IFL Enterprises(numbers of share traded: 2.16 crore), ARC Finance(numbers of share traded: 1.60 crore) and Pradhin Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 1.52 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 120.75 points down at 25517.05, while BSE Sensex ended down 452.44 points at 83606.46.

On the other hand, Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 2.26 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(down 2.12 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 2.02 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 1.93 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 1.92 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
