Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 80.56 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 16.65 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 15.73 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 10.51 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 9.00 crore), Eternal(numbers of share traded: 6.15 crore), Jio Financial Services(numbers of share traded: 6.07 crore), RattanIndia Infra(numbers of share traded: 5.56 crore), Himadri Speciality(numbers of share traded: 5.47 crore) and Lloyds Steels(numbers of share traded: 5.15 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 88.8 points up at 25637.8, while BSE Sensex ended up 303.03 points at 84058.9.

On the other hand, Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.85 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.56 per cent), Trent Ltd.(down 1.44 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 1.30 per cent) and Eternal Ltd.(down 1.26 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
