Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 8.67 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 7.35 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 7.26 crore), ARC Finance(numbers of share traded: 5.00 crore), IFL Enterprises(numbers of share traded: 4.72 crore), Sunshine Capital(numbers of share traded: 3.01 crore), Standard Cap(numbers of share traded: 2.94 crore), Earum Pharmaceutical(numbers of share traded: 2.69 crore), Avance Tech(numbers of share traded: 2.56 crore) and MMTC(numbers of share traded: 2.01 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 82.9 points down at 24750.7, while BSE Sensex ended down 182.01 points at 81451.01.

On the other hand, Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 3.02 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 2.54 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 1.98 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.69 per cent) and Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.64 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
