Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Standard Cap(numbers of share traded: 8.06 crore), ARC Finance(numbers of share traded: 4.87 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 4.23 crore), Sharanam Infra(numbers of share traded: 3.11 crore), IFCI(numbers of share traded: 2.64 crore), MMTC(numbers of share traded: 2.54 crore), Earum Pharmaceutical(numbers of share traded: 2.05 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 1.77 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 1.74 crore) and Avance Tech(numbers of share traded: 1.51 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 81.15 points up at 24833.6, while BSE Sensex ended up 320.7 points at 81633.02.

On the other hand, HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.09 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.04 per cent), Bharat Electronics Ltd.(down 0.94 per cent), Jio Financial Services Ltd.(down 0.87 per cent) and Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 0.69 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
