Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 5.86 crore), Earum Pharmaceutical(numbers of share traded: 3.42 crore), Tata Teleservices(numbers of share traded: 3.32 crore), Karda Const(numbers of share traded: 2.68 crore), Standard Cap(numbers of share traded: 2.08 crore), TD Power Sys(numbers of share traded: 1.72 crore), Mirch Technologies (numbers of share traded: 1.68 crore), Avance Tech(numbers of share traded: 1.21 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 1.07 crore) and Sunshine Capital(numbers of share traded: 1.07 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 203.75 points down at 24609.7, while BSE Sensex ended down 644.64 points at 80951.99.

On the other hand, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 2.82 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.74 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.04 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 2.03 per cent) and Wipro Ltd.(down 1.99 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
