Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 52.75 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 41.43 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 16.48 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 8.96 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 8.04 crore), Karda Const(numbers of share traded: 5.75 crore), Canara Bank(numbers of share traded: 4.94 crore), Tata Steel(numbers of share traded: 4.71 crore), HFCL(numbers of share traded: 4.32 crore) and BEL(numbers of share traded: 3.99 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 916.71 points up at 24924.7, while BSE Sensex ended up 2975.43 points at 82429.9.

On the other hand, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 3.63 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 3.36 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 1.22 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(down 1.50 per cent) and Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.74 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
