Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 95.59 crore), Zomato(numbers of share traded: 40.04 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 21.49 crore), Jio Financial Services(numbers of share traded: 18.89 crore), IDFC First Bank(numbers of share traded: 12.99 crore), Capri Global(numbers of share traded: 12.08 crore), BPCL(numbers of share traded: 10.75 crore), NHPC(numbers of share traded: 8.49 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 8.41 crore) and GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 6.94 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 105.11 points up at 23591.95, while BSE Sensex ended up 317.93 points at 77606.43.

On the other hand, Tata Motors Ltd.(down 5.61 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 1.57 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 1.07 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 0.80 per cent) and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 0.76 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
