Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 6.37 crore), Standard Cap(numbers of share traded: 2.05 crore), Gujarat Toolroom(numbers of share traded: 1.62 crore), Srestha Finvest(numbers of share traded: 1.41 crore), G G Engineering(numbers of share traded: 1.41 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 1.39 crore), Sharanam Infra(numbers of share traded: 1.11 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 1.03 crore), Spicejet(numbers of share traded: 1.00 crore) and Sunshine Capital(numbers of share traded: 0.80 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 307.95 points up at 23658.35, while BSE Sensex ended up 1078.87 points at 77984.38.

On the other hand, Titan Company Ltd.(down 2.65 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 2.55 per cent), Trent Ltd.(down 1.86 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.97 per cent) and Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 0.41 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
