Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 5.68 crore), Pro Fin Capital(numbers of share traded: 1.89 crore), Srestha Finvest(numbers of share traded: 1.86 crore), G G Engineering(numbers of share traded: 1.43 crore), Gujarat Toolroom(numbers of share traded: 1.35 crore), Standard Cap(numbers of share traded: 1.22 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 1.20 crore), JP Associates(numbers of share traded: 1.17 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 1.16 crore) and Avance Tech(numbers of share traded: 0.99 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 283.06 points up at 23190.65, while BSE Sensex ended up 899.01 points at 76348.06.

On the other hand, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.25 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 0.60 per cent), Trent Ltd.(down 0.18 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 0.01 per cent) and UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 0.14 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
