NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 12.84 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 2.08 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 1.58 crore), G G Engineering(numbers of share traded: 1.54 crore), Standard Cap(numbers of share traded: 1.50 crore), Gujarat Toolroom(numbers of share traded: 1.48 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 1.45 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 1.26 crore), Srestha Finvest(numbers of share traded: 1.26 crore) and Avance Tech(numbers of share traded: 1.13 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 73.3 points up at 22907.6, while BSE Sensex ended up 147.79 points at 75449.05.

On the other hand, Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.42 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 1.56 per cent), ITC Ltd.(down 1.48 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.42 per cent) and Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 1.29 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
