Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

Mazhar Mohammad of Chartviewindia.in said technical indicators are turning mixed as the weekly MACD chart has generated a 'buy' signal, giving an edge to the bulls.

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 13.92 crore), Gujarat Toolroom(numbers of share traded: 1.93 crore), Quasar India(numbers of share traded: 1.55 crore), Filatex Fashions(numbers of share traded: 1.51 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 1.47 crore), Avance Tech(numbers of share traded: 1.26 crore), Quadrant Tele(numbers of share traded: 1.18 crore), Dish TV India(numbers of share traded: 1.17 crore), Standard Cap(numbers of share traded: 1.16 crore) and Srestha Finvest(numbers of share traded: 1.01 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 92.21 points down at 22460.3, while BSE Sensex ended down 217.41 points at 74115.17.

On the other hand, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 4.17 per cent), Trent Ltd.(down 4.01 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 3.87 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 2.53 per cent) and Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 2.16 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
