Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 7.58 crore), G G Engineering(numbers of share traded: 2.34 crore), Avance Tech(numbers of share traded: 1.67 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 1.40 crore), Srestha Finvest(numbers of share traded: 1.20 crore), Kansal Fibres(numbers of share traded: 1.15 crore), Quadrant Tele(numbers of share traded: 0.92 crore), Mangalam Industrial(numbers of share traded: 0.89 crore), Vakrangee (numbers of share traded: 0.84 crore) and Spicejet(numbers of share traded: 0.83 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 13.85 points down at 23031.4, while BSE Sensex ended down 32.11 points at 76138.97.

On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 4.63 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.55 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 1.48 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.07 per cent) and Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 1.04 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
