Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 56.12 crore), Zomato(numbers of share traded: 30.82 crore), Rama Steel Tubes(numbers of share traded: 9.90 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 8.80 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 5.15 crore), Easy Trip Planners(numbers of share traded: 4.21 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 3.40 crore), NMDC(numbers of share traded: 3.28 crore), Tata Steel(numbers of share traded: 3.22 crore) and Kalyan Jewellers Ind(numbers of share traded: 3.02 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 320.1 points down at 23024.65, while BSE Sensex ended 1235.08 points at 75838.36.

On the other hand, Trent Ltd.(down 5.80 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 3.70 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 3.50 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 2.99 per cent) and State Bank of India(down 2.60 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
