Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 173.91 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 10.90 crore), Zomato(numbers of share traded: 10.27 crore), Tata Teleservices(numbers of share traded: 8.69 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 5.68 crore), Easy Trip Planners(numbers of share traded: 4.97 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 4.95 crore), Kalyan Jewellers Ind(numbers of share traded: 4.23 crore), Wipro(numbers of share traded: 3.94 crore) and Apollo Micro Systems(numbers of share traded: 3.54 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 141.55 points up at 23344.75, while BSE Sensex ended 454.11 points at 77073.44.

On the other hand, SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 2.65 per cent), Trent Ltd.(down 2.04 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 1.87 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.28 per cent) and HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.27 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
