Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 17.44 crore), Srestha Finvest(numbers of share traded: 2.39 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 1.86 crore), G G Engineering(numbers of share traded: 1.81 crore), Gujarat Toolroom(numbers of share traded: 1.34 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 1.13 crore), Rajnish Wellness(numbers of share traded: 0.93 crore), Sunshine Capital(numbers of share traded: 0.65 crore), Navkar Builders(numbers of share traded: 0.64 crore) and Avance Tech(numbers of share traded: 0.60 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 37.16 points up at 23213.2, while BSE Sensex ended 224.45 points at 76724.08.

On the other hand, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.93 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 2.45 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(down 2.37 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 2.15 per cent) and Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 2.01 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
