Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 4.19 crore), G G Engineering(numbers of share traded: 2.52 crore), Remedium Lifecare(numbers of share traded: 2.29 crore), Srestha Finvest(numbers of share traded: 1.89 crore), Standard Cap(numbers of share traded: 1.10 crore), Sunshine Capital(numbers of share traded: 1.08 crore), Spicejet(numbers of share traded: 0.96 crore), Avance Tech(numbers of share traded: 0.93 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 0.91 crore) and GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 0.74 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 162.46 points down at 23526.5, while BSE Sensex ended 528.28 points at 77620.21.

On the other hand, Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 3.07 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 3.01 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 2.38 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 2.15 per cent) and Tata Steel Ltd.(down 2.05 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
