Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 46.41 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 9.96 crore), ITI Ltd(numbers of share traded: 8.92 crore), Bank of Maharashtra(numbers of share traded: 6.31 crore), Filatex Fashions(numbers of share traded: 5.63 crore), ONGC(numbers of share traded: 4.98 crore), Zomato(numbers of share traded: 4.82 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 4.71 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 4.27 crore) and Apollo Micro Systems(numbers of share traded: 3.77 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 183.91 points down at 24004.75, while BSE Sensex ended 720.6 points at 79223.11.

On the other hand, Wipro Ltd.(down 3.08 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(down 2.49 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.18 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 2.16 per cent) and ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 1.98 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
