Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 39.28 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 6.79 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 6.70 crore), Filatex Fashions(numbers of share traded: 5.70 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 3.90 crore), Hind Const Co(numbers of share traded: 3.33 crore), Easy Trip Planners(numbers of share traded: 3.16 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 3.04 crore), NMDC(numbers of share traded: 3.04 crore) and Karda Const(numbers of share traded: 2.95 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 445.75 points up at 24188.65, while BSE Sensex ended 1436.3 points at 79943.71.

On the other hand, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 0.64 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 0.15 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.45 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 0.48 per cent) and ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 0.55 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
