Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 18.11 crore), One Mobikwik Systems(numbers of share traded: 7.95 crore), Greaves Cotton(numbers of share traded: 7.91 crore), Finolex Inds.(numbers of share traded: 4.33 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 4.33 crore), GI Engineering(numbers of share traded: 3.92 crore), NMDC(numbers of share traded: 3.32 crore), Easy Trip Planners(numbers of share traded: 2.97 crore), Vakrangee (numbers of share traded: 2.29 crore) and RBL Bank(numbers of share traded: 2.23 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 63.21 points up at 23813.4, while BSE Sensex ended 226.59 points at 78699.07.

On the other hand, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 1.81 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 1.58 per cent), State Bank of India(down 1.58 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 1.40 per cent) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.07 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
