Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 25.24 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 18.83 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 14.89 crore), Zomato(numbers of share traded: 7.27 crore), Mindspace REIT(numbers of share traded: 5.76 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 5.63 crore), PC Jeweller(numbers of share traded: 5.45 crore), Hind Const Co(numbers of share traded: 4.10 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 3.81 crore) and GI Engineering(numbers of share traded: 3.70 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 332.25 points down at 24336.0, while BSE Sensex ended 1064.12 points at 80684.45.

On the other hand, Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 5.12 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 3.19 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 2.85 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 2.73 per cent) and JSW Steel Ltd.(down 2.38 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
