Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 2.61 crore), G G Engineering(numbers of share traded: 2.49 crore), GI Engineering(numbers of share traded: 2.36 crore), Sawaca Business(numbers of share traded: 1.90 crore), Avance Tech(numbers of share traded: 1.79 crore), Rajnish Wellness(numbers of share traded: 1.76 crore), Srestha Finvest(numbers of share traded: 1.63 crore), Mishtann Foods(numbers of share traded: 1.50 crore), Kretto Syscon (numbers of share traded: 1.24 crore) and JP Power(numbers of share traded: 1.17 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 100.05 points down at 24668.25, while BSE Sensex ended 384.55 points at 81748.57.

On the other hand, Titan Company Ltd.(down 2.02 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.34 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 1.32 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 1.30 per cent) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.25 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
