Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 34.13 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 6.84 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 6.11 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 5.25 crore), Inox Wind Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 4.84 crore), Easy Trip Planners(numbers of share traded: 4.62 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 4.57 crore), Rama Steel Tubes(numbers of share traded: 4.30 crore), Zomato(numbers of share traded: 3.52 crore) and Debock Sales & Mktg(numbers of share traded: 3.49 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 144.96 points up at 24276.05, while BSE Sensex ended 445.29 points at 80248.08.

On the other hand, HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 2.67 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 1.71 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 1.50 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.10 per cent) and Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 0.69 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
