Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 102.29 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 17.40 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 10.17 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 7.69 crore), Adani Power(numbers of share traded: 6.08 crore), Ujjivan SFB(numbers of share traded: 5.57 crore), Zomato(numbers of share traded: 4.96 crore), Debock Sales & Mktg(numbers of share traded: 4.65 crore), Hind Const Co(numbers of share traded: 4.34 crore) and Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 4.26 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 360.75 points down at 23914.15, while BSE Sensex ended 1190.34 points at 79043.74.

On the other hand, SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 5.11 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 3.54 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 3.53 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 3.36 per cent) and Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 2.93 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
