Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 91.98 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 9.40 crore), IRFC(numbers of share traded: 9.40 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 6.04 crore), IDFC First Bank(numbers of share traded: 5.68 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 5.28 crore), Zomato(numbers of share traded: 4.84 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 4.80 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 4.78 crore) and Rama Steel Tubes(numbers of share traded: 4.42 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 126.0 points down at 24340.85, while BSE Sensex ended 426.85 points at 79942.18.

On the other hand, Cipla Ltd.(down 4.02 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 2.45 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 2.24 per cent), Trent Ltd.(down 2.14 per cent) and HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 2.07 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
