Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 4.98 crore), ARC Finance(numbers of share traded: 2.64 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 2.40 crore), Srestha Finvest(numbers of share traded: 2.31 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 2.22 crore), Stampede Cap(numbers of share traded: 1.83 crore), Filatex Fashions(numbers of share traded: 1.26 crore), Avance Tech(numbers of share traded: 1.25 crore), Unitech(numbers of share traded: 1.18 crore) and Lesha Ind(numbers of share traded: 1.14 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 42.8 points up at 25278.7, while BSE Sensex ended up 194.07 points at 82559.84.

On the other hand, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 2.49 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 2.27 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.69 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 1.49 per cent) and Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 1.38 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
