Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 40.17 crore), NBCC (numbers of share traded: 29.74 crore), Filatex Fashions(numbers of share traded: 29.55 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 21.65 crore), IFCI(numbers of share traded: 12.05 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 8.86 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 8.27 crore), Inventure Grwth(numbers of share traded: 8.26 crore), Rama Steel Tubes(numbers of share traded: 8.00 crore) and GMR Infra(numbers of share traded: 6.08 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 34.6 points up at 25052.35, while BSE Sensex ended up 73.8 points at 81785.56.

On the other hand, Asian Paints Ltd.(down 1.29 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.28 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(down 1.15 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 1.12 per cent) and Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 1.06 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
