Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 41.55 crore), Zee Ent.(numbers of share traded: 10.20 crore), Filatex Fashions(numbers of share traded: 8.79 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 8.60 crore), Tata Teleservices(numbers of share traded: 7.21 crore), CESC(numbers of share traded: 7.03 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 6.57 crore), Sakuma Exports(numbers of share traded: 6.18 crore), Inventure Grwth(numbers of share traded: 5.41 crore) and Shriram EPC(numbers of share traded: 5.38 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 7.16 points up at 25017.75, while BSE Sensex ended up 13.65 points at 81711.76.

On the other hand, Titan Company Ltd.(down 2.18 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 2.03 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 1.93 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.39 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 1.35 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
