Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 30.95 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 16.82 crore), Zomato(numbers of share traded: 13.24 crore), Filatex Fashions(numbers of share traded: 10.97 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 8.79 crore), Allcargo Logistics(numbers of share traded: 6.66 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 5.44 crore), HFCL(numbers of share traded: 4.88 crore), Urja Global(numbers of share traded: 4.12 crore) and Tata Steel(numbers of share traded: 3.76 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 126.2 points up at 24698.85, while BSE Sensex ended up 378.18 points at 80802.86.

On the other hand, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 1.56 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 1.40 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.03 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 0.81 per cent) and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 0.78 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
