Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 29.08 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 20.83 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 16.89 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 13.13 crore), Filatex Fashions(numbers of share traded: 12.00 crore), HFCL(numbers of share traded: 9.79 crore), Inox Wind Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 9.24 crore), Sakuma Exports(numbers of share traded: 9.12 crore), IFCI(numbers of share traded: 6.97 crore) and IRFC(numbers of share traded: 6.40 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 20.5 points down at 24347.0, while BSE Sensex ended down 56.99 points at 79648.92.

On the other hand, NTPC Ltd.(down 2.39 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 2.12 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.82 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 1.65 per cent) and State Bank of India(down 1.42 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
