Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 9.60 crore), Srestha Finvest(numbers of share traded: 4.26 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 3.40 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 2.28 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 1.76 crore), Punjab Alkalies(numbers of share traded: 1.63 crore), Vikas Ecotech (numbers of share traded: 1.59 crore), Restaurant Brands(numbers of share traded: 1.58 crore), IFL Enterprises(numbers of share traded: 1.51 crore) and Rama Steel Tubes(numbers of share traded: 1.37 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 59.75 points up at 25010.9, while BSE Sensex ended up 126.21 points at 81867.55.

On the other hand, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.74 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 2.13 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 1.38 per cent), State Bank of India(down 1.12 per cent) and Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.06 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
