Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 96.45 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 85.95 crore), IRB Infra Dev.(numbers of share traded: 23.00 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 16.43 crore), MTNL(numbers of share traded: 8.80 crore), Indian Railway Fin(numbers of share traded: 8.64 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 7.66 crore), Indian Renewable(numbers of share traded: 7.38 crore), Mukka Proteins(numbers of share traded: 6.43 crore) and IFCI(numbers of share traded: 6.11 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 26.3 points up at 24613.0, while BSE Sensex ended up 51.69 points at 80716.55.

On the other hand, Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 2.39 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 2.19 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 2.08 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 1.48 per cent) and NTPC Ltd.(down 1.35 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
