Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 54.47 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 39.44 crore), IFCI(numbers of share traded: 17.65 crore), Indian Railway Fin(numbers of share traded: 16.73 crore), NHPC(numbers of share traded: 13.85 crore), Bank of Maharashtra(numbers of share traded: 11.62 crore), Indian Renewable(numbers of share traded: 10.66 crore), MTNL(numbers of share traded: 8.67 crore), IOB(numbers of share traded: 8.32 crore) and SJVN(numbers of share traded: 6.25 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 84.55 points up at 24586.7, while BSE Sensex ended up 145.52 points at 80664.86.

On the other hand, LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 1.70 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 1.43 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 1.41 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 1.15 per cent) and Axis Bank Ltd.(down 0.75 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
