Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 16.66 crore), Alstone Textiles(numbers of share traded: 4.77 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 4.40 crore), Visagar Fin(numbers of share traded: 2.98 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 2.22 crore), Sawaca Business(numbers of share traded: 2.19 crore), Avance Tech(numbers of share traded: 2.07 crore), G V Films(numbers of share traded: 1.94 crore), Rajnish Wellness(numbers of share traded: 1.73 crore) and GI Engineering(numbers of share traded: 1.63 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 33.91 points down at 24010.6, while BSE Sensex ended down 210.45 points at 79032.73.

On the other hand, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 2.55 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 2.16 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(down 1.84 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 1.67 per cent) and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 1.54 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
