Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 17.38 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 8.61 crore), Avance Tech(numbers of share traded: 6.45 crore), NCL Research(numbers of share traded: 3.04 crore), Ashapuri Gold Ornament(numbers of share traded: 2.22 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 2.20 crore), Empower India(numbers of share traded: 1.97 crore), Sunshine Capital(numbers of share traded: 1.71 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 1.44 crore) and Ujjivan SFB(numbers of share traded: 1.31 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 36.75 points up at 23537.85, while BSE Sensex ended up 131.18 points at 77341.08.

On the other hand, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 2.41 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 2.41 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.70 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 1.36 per cent) and Tata Steel Ltd.(down 1.11 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
