Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 31.62 crore), Avance Tech(numbers of share traded: 6.17 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 4.02 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 2.33 crore), SAIL(numbers of share traded: 1.39 crore), Vikas Multicorp(numbers of share traded: 1.18 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 1.14 crore), Maha Corp Ltd(numbers of share traded: 1.01 crore), Moschip Tech(numbers of share traded: 0.86 crore) and G G Engineering(numbers of share traded: 0.79 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 34.41 points up at 22402.4, while BSE Sensex ended up 114.49 points at 73852.94.

On the other hand, Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 5.39 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 1.37 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.22 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.16 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 1.13 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
