Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 121.85 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 10.47 crore), ONGC(numbers of share traded: 7.91 crore), Exide Inds.(numbers of share traded: 7.37 crore), NHPC(numbers of share traded: 5.03 crore), Jio Financial Servic(numbers of share traded: 4.89 crore), IDFC First Bank(numbers of share traded: 4.65 crore), NMDC Steel(numbers of share traded: 4.59 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 4.50 crore) and Zomato(numbers of share traded: 4.33 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 124.6 points down at 22147.9, while BSE Sensex ended down 456.1 points at 72943.68.

On the other hand, Infosys Ltd.(down 3.66 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 3.18 per cent), LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 3.17 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 2.40 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 2.32 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
