Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 46.85 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 26.13 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 11.40 crore), Indian Railway Fin(numbers of share traded: 11.22 crore), NHPC(numbers of share traded: 7.64 crore), Tata Steel(numbers of share traded: 6.82 crore), Infibeam Avenues(numbers of share traded: 5.26 crore), Dish TV India(numbers of share traded: 5.20 crore), Allcargo Logistics(numbers of share traded: 4.46 crore) and Rama Steel Tubes(numbers of share traded: 4.32 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 84.8 points up at 22096.75, while BSE Sensex ended up 190.75 points at 72831.94.

On the other hand, LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 3.01 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 2.95 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 2.67 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 2.38 per cent) and Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.57 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
