Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 73.73 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 31.20 crore), Indian Renewable(numbers of share traded: 15.46 crore), Easy Trip Planners(numbers of share traded: 10.48 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 10.27 crore), South Indian Bnk(numbers of share traded: 8.47 crore), GMR Infra(numbers of share traded: 7.54 crore), NHPC(numbers of share traded: 6.03 crore), Jio Financial Servic(numbers of share traded: 5.70 crore) and Railtel Corp(numbers of share traded: 4.82 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 76.3 points up at 22198.35, while BSE Sensex ended up 305.09 points at 73095.22.

On the other hand, Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 1.47 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 1.31 per cent), State Bank of India(down 1.20 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.05 per cent) and UPL Ltd.(down 0.94 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
