Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 36.94 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 27.66 crore), Dish TV India(numbers of share traded: 20.84 crore), NHPC(numbers of share traded: 13.41 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 11.52 crore), HFCL(numbers of share traded: 8.60 crore), Zomato(numbers of share traded: 8.54 crore), Zee Ent.(numbers of share traded: 8.53 crore), GMR Infra(numbers of share traded: 5.65 crore) and Jio Financial Servic(numbers of share traded: 5.57 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 74.71 points up at 22196.95, while BSE Sensex ended up 349.24 points at 73057.4.

On the other hand, Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 3.90 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 3.15 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 2.53 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 1.92 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 1.79 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
